Study Abroad Day 6: Broken Alarms and School

Well I'm sorry to say, today's blog won't be a very interesting one. This morning I woke up, looked at my alarm and it was 10AM. We were supposed to be at a brewery on a professional visit but our alarm never went off. We woke up and immediately called Hugo (the man in charge of our program) and he told us to just meet them at school at 1:30. We decided to get up and get ready. Both of us showered and it was 11:30 by the time we left the hotel. We went in search of a camera store to upgrade our point and shoot but couldn't find anything. Instead we stopped at our favorite little cafe by the hotel grabbed a quick lunch:

Cal loves this marmalade/Nutella station:

I love that most of the items on the menu are also in the case. You can see what you will get:

Its cozy and cute (can't see too well but the table cards are held up by real bread rolls)

Cal is really likes this pomegranate and yogurt:

We headed over to class, the school has really good wifi and we needed to update Cals computer so we stayed for a while. The two of us (or the Wynn sisters as the staff calls us) grabbed a snack at a place right by the school and then it was back to the hotel. Next Cal, Sam and I went to a local supermarket to gather snacks for the train to Paris. It was very interesting to see the small family owned markets. I got a Fanta limon because I've never seen one in the states:

It was pretty good like sprite with a bit more lemon flavor and less carbonation:

We decided to try and find the Gothic Quarter for dinner. We got off the metro and wandered in the direction we thought was correct. Our stomachs were rumbling so we ended up just stopping into a random restaurant we walked by. On the way we saw a beautiful church and some other architecture:

Thats just about all we did today! I just finished packing up because we leave at 8AM tomorrow for Paris. Sorry for the less exciting blog but not every day is packed with activities! Its 1AM so I'm going to sleep now.

<3 Morg

PS sorry I used the pronoun 'we' so much this post, I'm exhausted and can't think of anything else at the moment. Ill try and fix it in the morning
