Study Abroad Day 17: France, Switzerland & Italy in one day

We began our day by waking up super early and hopping on a bus to Lugano, Switzerland. I was sad to say goodbye to Chamonix, It has been my favorite place of the trip so far. I'm hoping to come back again one day, maybe in the winter time to ski. We all feel asleep on the bus to Lugano, I got this gem of Sam and Cal knocked out:

We arrived in Lugano and had class at the Franklin University Switzerland campus. After a few hours of class we got free time to wander around downtown Lugano. The lake was really pretty and we just walked around, ate dinner and window-shopped. Switzerland is extremely expensive so we tried to keep our spending to a minimum and just take in the experience of Lugano.

It was pretty hot and humid outside so we couldn't pass up on some ice cold gelato:

We continued to waste time just walking around until it was time to meet back up with the rest of our study abroad group:

We snapped one last picture (of course our tradition):

We all loaded back onto the busses and headed to Milan, Italy. I'm so excited to be in Italy, mostly because Italian food is the BEST! Sorry today's post wasn't very exciting, we were pretty much on the bus for most of the day!

Get ready for our first day in Milan full of shopping and amazing Italian food!
